If I said I was good, you wouldn't believe me so heres what some other people think.
'At just 16 he writes with an extraordinary maturity, best exemplified by Neon Lights - a totally stunning piece of song writing. Yet for all his American dreams he retains a down-to-earth quality, concluding he could never live there because "I Don't Suit Shades'

'The world is by no means short of singer songwriters and unless you're Newton Faulkner, it's hard to get any real attention from it. After listening through the first song I found myself drawn to his voice, I don't know why but it's very pleasing to the ear. Nothing fancy but it works. The thing that realy sets McCallion apart from the masses is his songwriting. The lyrics are fantastic! The touching recall of childhood memories from 'Fresh In My Mind' to a very Levellers style 'I Don't Suit Shades' about the state of the country and the struggle to write a song of any meaning with little life experience on 'Singer Songwrite Blues'.
To sum up yes, it's been done before but McCallion does it very well. He has gigs lined up throughout the year so be sure to check him out.'

'This album is brilliant, every song is ace. Singer Songwrite Blues, his first single on itunes was an absolute hit with me at least because he managed to be funny aswell as making a briliant song too. I've seen Paddy live many times now and have been waiting eagerly for the release of "Fresh In My Mind" on itunes, and now it's here, it's as awesome as ever. I strongly advise anyone to buy this album and see him live because I've never seen someone so good and so into the music he makes my whole life. Overall this is a great album from a great singer and a great guy. Good luck Paddy, and to everyone else watch this space, this guys a star in the making!'
